A Site For Everyone Who Hates Spam and Pop Ups

Using a spam inspector Tool

Utilizing a spam inspector tool to filter out spam before it gets to your inbox can make reading your mail a more pleasant experience.

Spam is any type of unsolicited commercial email. Unfortunately, spam is something we all have to live with. Even though there are laws in place, spammers have little regard for the law and, there is little hope that spammers will adhere to the laws and since they are not going away any time soon, you need to use a good filter to lessen the amount in your in box.

How Spammers Get Email Addresses

Most spammers harvest email addresses from the web. Sometimes when you order something your email gets sold to a list, but most times it is harvested from a web site. Spammers have robots that crawl the web looking for anything in the form of an email address, so if you have a web site with your email listed on it or you are published in any kind of directory or listed on a site, your email is sure to get on a mailing list. Unfortunately, once they get your email, no anti spam software, not even a spam inspector tool is able to remove you from these lists.

How Spam Can Be More Than Just An Annoyance

For your defense, you need a spam inspector tool for flitering, but you also need an antivirus tool to catch and destroy any viruses on your computer. Spam emails can be infected, so clicking on them can open your computer up to a virus. It is estimated that almost all viruses are spread through email. Once a virus gets into your computer, it can spread itself by mailing itself out to everyone on your address list.
